#3... He Remembers ~
He Remembers...
They say he always came to the Homestead in Colorado Springs when Brian was young.
Each morning, the crow would find his place on that same worn perch, waiting.
And Brian
-just a boy ~ would bring him bits of corn, talking to him like an old friend, once tying a ragged red, white, and blue scarf around his neck.
Time carried Brian away, as it does.
But the crow never forgot.
Every summer, he returns... to that same spot... wearing that same weathered scarf.
Perched there in the quiet—
as if holding onto something that never quite left~
And he remembers.
