#9.. The Road to Colorado Springs ~

At first light, he set out for Colorado Springs… a young pine in his cart, bound for the Mercantile and Americas 250th birthday celebration.

The road was long, but familiar.

And as the wheels turned, he thought of a boy ~
young Brian … waiting by the roadside with a handful of corn and a smile he never forgot.

Now, as Colorado Springs comes into view…
he finds himself hoping ~ just once more ~
to see that boy again.
