Only one sheep has ever been seen in Ravenmoor.
He does not stay in one place, and no one knows where he sleeps. At dawn he may be beside one cottage, and by dusk he has wandered silently to the next.
Some say he belongs to Olga, though no one knows for certain. The witches of Ravenmoor never speak of him, and those wise enough not to ask have learned that some mysteries are best left to the eternal mists.
In Ravenmoor, the seasons never change. It is forever autumn, and the little bell upon his neck is heard somewhere in the valley every day of every year, reminding all who live there that some things have always been… and always shall be.
